Sometimes the most meaningful gifts aren’t expensive or elaborate. Sometimes they’re drawn with a blue pen on a notebook page by the tiny hands of a child.
A little girl who comes to visit me almost every day surprised me today with this drawing.
She smiled and said, “It’s me and you,” and then told me she loves me.
My heart melted.
To someone else, this might look like a simple sketch. But to me, it’s a priceless reminder that love doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful.
Children have a way of loving us with open hearts and reminding us what truly matters.
This drawing will always remind me that kindness leaves a lasting impression. It’s amazing how a few simple lines on paper can carry so much love and brighten an entire day.
I am so thankful for the special people God placed in my life. Sometimes people come into our lives unexpectedly and leave footprints on our hearts that can never be erased.
I’ll treasure this little masterpiece because it wasn’t just a drawing—it was a gift of friendship, trust, and love.
