A message from Crystal, founder of Dragon Strong Circle and Princess Crystal Says
I never imagined cancer would be part of my story.
When I was diagnosed with stage 2B cervical cancer, everything changed. The treatments were aggressive, and while they saved my life, they left me with severe nerve damage, chronic pain, and a very different version of the life I once knew.
I struggled—not just physically, but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. The world kept moving, but I felt like I was standing still. Isolated. Scared. Searching for someone who truly understood what I was going through.
That’s when I realized something powerful: healing doesn’t happen in isolation—it happens in community.
I needed more than medical care. I needed a circle of people who had walked similar roads, who could say “me too,” and mean it. So I decided to build the kind of space I wish I had during those darkest days.
That’s how Dragon Strong Circle was born.

The name “Dragon Strong” represents the fire we walk through—and the strength we find in surviving it. Dragons are fierce, resilient, and full of power. So are we.
I also started Princess Crystal Says as a way to share my voice, advocate for others, and encourage healing through writing. It’s my personal blog, my heart on the page, and a place for fellow warriors to find hope, truth, and solidarity.
