Your doctor told me it won’t be long,

Right now, I have got to be strong.

Holding you close to my heart,

Now, your new journey is about the start.

Do you know what is happening to you?

Are you ever sad, angry, or blue?

How can you continue to tell your tale?

Are you suffering and going through hell.

Our friendship was filled with trust and love,

Soon, you will fly away, as a spotless dove.
