Peepers First Night Out Of Her Cage

Peepers Exploring

Last night, I decided to let my growing baby chicken named Peepers out of her cage for the first time. She had a good time roaming around freely in my home, while she was checking out every single thing that she could reach.

Peepers decided to roam around my home for a little over an hour. She was literally in heaven, whenever she was finally free from her cage. I enjoyed watching her explore my home for the first time.

Peepers kept coming directly to me and allowing me to pick her up, so she could sit on my lap. She even enjoyed being petted by me, but my little dog was not happy about the fact she was on my lap.

My teacup chihuahua actually loves to chase the landlord’s chickens that are outside my home. However, she knows that she is not allowed to chase Peepers. I have been noticing how much my sweet girl has been growing up lately.

My landlord gave her to me when she was very little, which made my day to be honest. I’m happy that she is finally big enough to explore the floor of my home. Unfortunately, after about an hour, Peepers decided to go back to her cage.

I decided to feed her and fill up her water dish, but she made a mess again due to her scratching. Then, Peepers literally flew up to her favorite small branch and she began roosting.

I am so extremely blessed to be able to watch her grow up every single day. She knows I am her mom, which makes me feel like I’m her best friend. Honestly, I cannot wait till tonight, so I can let Peepers roam again.
