Scripture
“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10 (NIV)
There are seasons in life when God’s voice seems quiet. We pray, we wait, and we wonder why the answers haven’t come. During those moments, it is easy to believe that He has forgotten us. But silence does not mean absence.
A loving parent does not stop caring for a child simply because they are quiet. In the same way, our Heavenly Father continues working even when we cannot see what He is doing. He is preparing the path ahead, strengthening our faith, and teaching us to trust Him one step at a time.
Faith often grows the deepest during the waiting seasons. When we choose to trust God instead of our fears, we discover a peace that cannot be explained by our circumstances. His timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t match our own.
If you find yourself in a season of waiting today, remember that God is already there. He knows every prayer you have whispered and every tear you have cried. He has not abandoned you. He is walking beside you, carrying you when the road becomes too difficult.
Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep trusting. The God who has been faithful before will be faithful again.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding me that Your silence is never the same as Your absence. Help me to trust Your timing, even when I cannot see what You are doing. Strengthen my faith, calm my anxious heart, and fill me with the peace that comes from knowing You are always with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Reflection
Where is God asking you to trust Him today, even if you don’t yet see the answer?
