Many people have discovered the many books that I’ve published on Amazon. Sometimes, they will ask me in an email, “How did you write so many books? Did you use AI to write the books or did you actually write them yourself?”
The answer is simple: I kept writing different types of stories whenever I wanted to write about something. Most of the stories that I wrote ended up becoming a new book which was stored on my computer for many years.
During the last 23 years of writing stories that were in different genres, I began a mission of learning how to self-publish my books to Amazon and other publishing
Honestly, I didn’t wait until I had the perfect idea or the perfect schedule. I wrote whenever the inspiration came to me. Some days I wrote in the morning with a cup of coffee.
Other days I found myself writing late at night when I couldn’t sleep. Every word I wrote brought me one step closer to finishing another book.
Writing has been part of my life for more than two decades. During that time, I’ve learned that books aren’t written all at once. They are written one page, one paragraph, and one sentence at a time.
I also don’t limit myself to one genre because I love to write about different topics. I enjoy writing children’s books, fantasy novels, devotionals, memoirs, workbooks, and inspirational nonfiction.
Exploring different genres keeps my creativity fresh and allows me to reach readers of all ages.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that consistency matters more than speed. Even writing a few hundred words each day adds up over weeks, months, and years. Those small daily efforts eventually became dozens of completed books.
My life experiences have also given me endless inspiration. I’ve written about faith, healing, hope, family, my writing journey, and even my beloved pets. Every experience has the potential to become a story that encourages someone else.
People often think writing many books requires extraordinary talent. I believe it requires something even more important: perseverance.
There were days when writing felt easy and days when it felt difficult, but I kept showing up anyway.
Today, seeing my books published on Amazon is incredibly rewarding. However, the greatest joy is knowing that my stories may inspire, comfort, or entertain a reader somewhere in the world.
If you’ve always dreamed of writing a book, my advice is simple: don’t wait for the perfect moment. Start today. Write one page.
Then write another tomorrow. Before you know it, you’ll have a manuscript—and perhaps the beginning of a lifelong writing journey.
