Sometimes the smallest blessings bring the biggest smiles.
My baby chicken, Peepers, is now safely settled into a new, more secure cage. After her great escape adventure, I’m grateful to know she has a safe place to call home while she continues to grow.
I am especially thankful to my landlord and his family for giving me Peepers. She has brought so much joy, laughter, and companionship into my life. Such a thoughtful gift has been a wonderful reminder that kindness often comes in unexpected ways.
As Peepers gets older, I hope she continues to stay close to me when I let her roam freely. She’s already become such a special little companion, and I look forward to watching her personality grow each day.
Life isn’t always about the big moments. Sometimes it’s about a tiny chick, a caring gift, and the gratitude that fills your heart because of both.
