As an author, one of the greatest gifts is hearing from readers who have connected with your work. Every email, message, review, and invitation reminds me why I started writing in the first place.
Recently, I have received several emails inviting me to join readers’ book clubs, promotional programs, and various marketing opportunities. I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who has reached out.
Your Support Means a Lot
Writing a book requires countless hours of dedication, creativity, and faith. When someone takes the time to read my work and recommend it to others, it is deeply appreciated.
I am honored whenever a reader, book club, or literary community shows interest in featuring my books. Knowing that my stories and journals are finding their way into readers’ hands is a blessing.
My Policy on Paid Promotions
While I appreciate these invitations, I want to be transparent about my approach to book marketing.
I do not pay fees for book club placements, promotional listings, marketing packages, review opportunities, or similar services. My focus is on growing my readership through authentic connections, quality writing, and genuine reader engagement.
If a group or organization enjoys my work and would like to share it with others, I am grateful for that support. However, I am not interested in paid promotional arrangements.
Supporting Independent Authors
There are many wonderful ways to support independent authors that do not require financial commitments from the writer. Some of the most meaningful include:
Reading and reviewing books
Sharing books with friends and family
Recommending authors to book clubs
Following authors on social media
Joining author newsletters
Leaving honest reviews on Amazon and other platforms
These simple acts often make a greater impact than any paid promotion.
