Sometimes life brings unexpected changes, and sometimes those changes are exactly what’s needed. Recently, a dear friend of mine went through the heartbreaking loss of her beloved dog due to old age. Losing a furry companion is never easy—they’re more than pets, they’re family.
When I saw her grief, I knew in my heart what to do. I decided to let her take home the sweet black-and-white pup, Pistol. It wasn’t easy to say goodbye, because Pistol had already carved out a special place in my life. But love sometimes means letting go, especially when you know it’s the best thing for them.
Now, Pistol has a wonderful new home with a pet parent who is truly amazing. She has so much love to give, and I know she will cherish and care for him the way he deserves. I’m so excited to see his progress as he adjusts, thrives, and makes her home his own.
🐶✨ Pistol has found his forever person, and my heart is full knowing he will be adored every single day. I am happy for her, but I will miss him. I get to see him anytime that I want to. This was not a decision made lightly, instead I thought about it for three days before I made my final decision.
