For those who have been asking about Willow, I’m so excited to share more about this beautiful little feathered friend who has recently joined my life.
Willow is a green cheek conure, approximately two years old, and she’s been with me for just about four days now. In such a short time, she’s already managed to win my heart with her gentle personality and curious spirit.
A Gentle & Loving Temperament
Willow has such a sweet nature. She enjoys being close to me and seems happiest when she’s spending time together — whether it’s during the day or even at night. I can tell she’s a bird who thrives on connection, affection, and a sense of security.
Her Cage & Comfort
One thing I’ve noticed is that Willow’s cage isn’t her favorite place. It may be due to the feeling of confinement, as she shows a clear preference for being out and near me. I’m working to make her cage a more comfortable and inviting space, but I’m also making sure she gets plenty of time outside of it to feel free and happy.
Learning to Talk
In these first few days, Willow has already shown an interest in mimicking words. While her “speech” is still developing, I’m confident that with consistent practice and encouragement, she’ll soon be repeating words and phrases more clearly. It’s going to be such a joy to hear her progress over time.
What’s Next for Willow
I plan to share photos and videos of Willow soon so you can see just how adorable she is — and follow along with her journey as she becomes more comfortable and learns new skills.
Whether she’s sitting quietly on my shoulder, exploring her surroundings, or practicing her talking skills, Willow is already a beloved member of my world. I can’t wait for you all to see more of her personality shine through.
📸 Stay tuned for the first batch of Willow photos and videos — they’re coming soon!
