To be recognized by such a meaningful platform is an honor I don’t take lightly. This is the second local magazine that has interviewed me since the beginning of the year.
As a woman of faith, a cancer survivor, and a freelance writer with 23 years of experience, moments like this feel like divine confirmation that I’m walking in my purpose.
A Heart Full of Gratitude
This new interview gave me the opportunity to speak from my heart—not just as a writer, but as a survivor, an encourager, and a founder of two deeply personal platforms:

To be asked about both of these sites and to have the space to speak about why I created them… it truly brought tears to my eyes. These aren’t just websites. They’re pieces of my soul.
They’re safe spaces I wish I had when I was in the thick of my own battles.
23 Years in the Writing World
I’ve been writing professionally for over two decades, but I’ve been a storyteller my entire life. My writing journey hasn’t always been easy—especially while balancing pain, loss, chronic illness, and healing—but it has always been worth it. Writing has carried me through storms, helped me find my voice, and now it allows me to uplift others through theirs.
Being featured in Bold Journey is a dream.
