Chosen By God—Even With a Messy Past

I have.

There were seasons in my life that felt so dark, so broken, so far from anything holy. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve doubted. I’ve struggled. I’ve carried shame. And for a long time, I believed the lie that my mess disqualified me from anything good—especially from being used by God.

But here’s what I’ve learned: God doesn’t choose the “clean.” He chooses the willing.

🌿 Your Past Does Not Cancel Your Purpose

If you’ve ever thought, “I’m too damaged. I’ve done too much. I’ve gone too far,” I want you to hear this:

God already knew your story when He called you.

He saw every wrong turn, every heartbreak, every regret—and He still chose you.

Your past doesn’t surprise Him. And it definitely doesn’t cancel His plan for your life.

✝️ Grace Isn’t Just for the Perfect

Jesus didn’t come for the ones who had it all together. He came for the lost, the hurting, the sinners—the messy.

That means you. That means me.
