Walking With God Through The Fire

By Princess Crystal of

Some seasons of life feel like fire — scorching, relentless, and consuming.

It’s not just one thing going wrong — it’s everything.

The heartbreak. The sickness. The betrayal. The silence.

You look around and wonder if anything will survive the flames.

I’ve walked through that fire.

I’ve felt the heat of despair, the sting of loss, the weight of trauma, and the ache of loneliness.

I’ve cried prayers that sounded more like groans.

I’ve begged for answers, for mercy, for a way out.

And you know what I learned?

God doesn’t always pull you out of the fire right away.

Sometimes… He walks with you through it.

He doesn’t always silence the storm — but He holds you steady in the middle of it.

He doesn’t always stop the hurt — but He stays close enough to heal it.

He doesn’t promise you won’t face the fire — but He does promise you won’t face it alone.

Just like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the book of Daniel — they were thrown into the fire, but they weren’t alone. There was a fourth man in the flames. God didn’t remove the fire. He showed up in it.

And He’s still doing that today.

I’ve seen firsthand that there is purpose in the fire.

It burns away what was never meant for you.

It reveals who you truly are.

It refines your faith like gold.

It teaches you how to stand when everything else is falling.

When you walk through fire with God, you don’t come out smelling like smoke — you come out stronger, wiser, and more rooted in Him than ever before.

So if you’re walking through your own fire right now, take heart.

You’re not alone. You’re not abandoned.

You’re being carried by the One who never lets the fire win.

And when you come out the other side — and you will — you’ll see the beauty that rises from the ashes.
