We made it safely through the night as hurricane Helene caused widespread damage throughout our state. However, right now 30,000 homes and businesses are without power and Jacksonville alone according to the news.
My son lives in Clay County and he is still without power at this time. The local power company in our area is currently working hard on getting the power restored to as many homes and businesses as they can. We are thankful to have no damage to our home or vehicle.
Today, I seen many different personal videos online that shows the widespread damage, which was worse in the Florida communities on the gulf coast. I am continuing to pray for every family that is dealing with damage after the hurricane.
However there is more damage to come as hurricane Helene travels through Georgia and other parts of the United States. Please take a moment to say a prayer for every family that’s going to be affected by this massive storm.
