Let me introduce you to Scarlett Rose, which is my very first Green Cheek Conure. She is green with a red tail. She was DNA tested by the breeder just before I bought her. Initially, I hand fed her baby bird formula from a small syringe. Scarlett loves to eat her birdseed, millet spray, treats, and my food now.
She enjoys playing with Max, which is my other green cheek conure. Scarlett is a very playful bird, who loves she talking with Max since I got him or her. She loves to talk, but she gets really loud most times. Scarlett is also allowed to get out her cage, whenever she wants to play with her toys. Currently, I am trying to collect more toys and perches for them.
Max and Scarlett currently share a cage, which is working out so far. They seem to like each other and they also love my yellow cockatiel named Wicca. They absolutely love invading her cage and eating her food, while also taking a bird bath in her water bowl. Thankfully, all three of my birds get along with each other, despite different personalities.
She enjoys walking around the floor and checking out everything. I love the way she comes to me when she is ready. She is a beautiful baby parrot, which I got to hand feed and hand train for a over year now. Hopefully, she’ll continue to do well in her training sessions.
