There was a season in my life where everything felt uncertain—my health, my future, even my strength.
I walked through experimental and aggressive cervical cancer treatment… while raising two very small children—just five and two years old.
In the middle of it all, I made a choice.
I went back to school and earned my GED. Then I kept going.
I decided to go to college.
I earned my Associate in Arts in Business.
And then my Bachelor’s degree in Communications.
Somewhere along that journey, I started writing. I never thought or imagined that it would lead me to a wonderful career.
Today, I’m a freelance writer and author with 62 books on Amazon, who writes across multiple genres while also working with amazing clients who have been working with me for many years now.
I am writing books that are in different genres like: fantasy fiction for all ages, crime fiction, werewolf romance, children’s fiction, devotionals, workbooks, and journals.
I built my own little website and blog over 13 years ago. Since, then I have been working on creating my own freelance writing business and personal brand, which is affectionately called Princess Crystal Says.
I am so excited about this new chapter of my life that I am going through.
I am honored to be able to welcome new opportunities within my life, as I move forward in my writing career. Last year, I was honored to be selected for an interview with an editor of two local magazines here in Jacksonville, Florida.
I was selected to be featured as a local author and freelance writer. One of the magazines actually featured me twice, which was a definite surprise and honor.
Additionally, I was interviewed and included in a professional directory of people who have excelled in their chosen career. I am deeply honored to be featured in this book, which is named Marquis, Who’s Who of 2025.
Looking back, I am so grateful for everything that I’ve been through over the years, whether it’s good or bad.
I have learned that I am a strong woman who have faced some tough choices and challenges in my life as well as my career. However, my faith in God has always led me through the toughest battles with my health.
I know that God has been with me every step of the way.
I honestly don’t think I could have made it through my challenges, without God’s hand on me and his protection throughout the really difficult times that I have faced through out my life.
Dragon Strong is my true story—raw, real, and filled with hope.
This book is about how I faced cancer’s painful touch, yet I still found the strength I needed to chase my personal dreams of becoming a professional writer and author.
