So… it’s been two weeks.
Two weeks since I stepped into a space that didn’t look like the usual idea of “home,” but somehow felt like mine the moment I chose it. My boyfriend and I officially moved into our RV, and what started as a simple decision has slowly been unfolding into something deeper, something softer.
Not Perfect, But Full of Potential
It’s not perfect. It still needs work.
But there’s a quiet kind of joy in that.
Every day, I find myself noticing the little things—the way the light falls through the windows, the small corners waiting to be decorated, the pieces we’ve already started to fix and shape. It’s inexpensive, yes, but it doesn’t feel lacking. If anything, it feels intentional. Like we chose peace over pressure… simplicity over excess.
Creating Home, One Detail at a Time
And I’ve been leaning into the process.
Cleaning, arranging, imagining what each space can become. Taking something that was “just okay” and slowly dressing it up with care, with vision, with love. There’s something grounding about building a home this way—not buying perfection, but creating it with your own hands.
Lessons in Simplicity
It’s teaching me patience. Creativity. Gratitude.
Because home, I’m learning, isn’t about size or status. It’s about how a place holds you. How it grows with you. How it becomes a reflection of your life, your effort, your story.
A Life That Fits
Two weeks in, and it already feels like we’re building something meaningful here.
Not just a place to live… but a life that fits us. 💜
