“Strength for Us”

Scripture:
“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” — Ecclesiastes 4:12
Marriage is a journey that invites two imperfect people to walk hand-in-hand toward a perfect God. Some days feel effortless—light, joyful, full of laughter. Other days feel heavy, stretched, or silent. But every day, God stands in the middle, steadying what tries to shake and strengthening what feels weak.
When life pressures pull you in different directions, remember this truth: you were never meant to do marriage in your own strength. God designed you to lean on Him, lean on each other, and lean into the love that first brought you together.
A marriage anchored in God doesn’t avoid storms—
but it stands through them.
A marriage centered on prayer doesn’t become perfect—
but it becomes powerful.
A marriage woven with God’s presence doesn’t grow weary—
it grows stronger.
Today, choose closeness.
Choose conversation.
Choose softness.
Choose forgiveness.
Choose to let God strengthen the bond between you—strand by strand, prayer by prayer, day by day.
Prayer
Lord, strengthen our marriage today. Teach us how to love each other the way You love us—strong, patient, and full of grace. Bind us together with Your peace and remind us that with You, we are not easily broken. Amen.
Reflection Question
Where do we need God’s strength in our marriage today—and how can we invite Him into that place?
