My Grandfather

Who was your most influential teacher? Why?

My grandfather and grandmother raised me from the time I was born until they both went to heaven. I loved learning things that Papa would teach me in his garage. He was a little rough around the edges, but he was a very smart man.

He used every opportunity as a teaching moment for me and my twin brother. Papa taught me all about cars, plumbing, electrical stuff, house building, and so much more.

I miss his smile and his voice, as well as his insights on any project I am doing.I loved knowing he was always right when he spoke.
