Beneath the stars, where silence lies,
I search for you in endless skies.
The echoes of your laughter fade,
Yet linger still in memories made.
The world grew dim the day you went,
A heart now fractured, love unspent.
No words can bridge this yawning pain,
No tears can bring you back again.
Your voice, a song I strain to hear,
A whisper lost, yet ever near.
Your smile, a light that once would glow,
Now shines through all the lives you’ve sown.
The stories told, the jokes we shared,
The way you showed you always cared.
A bond unbroken, though you’re gone,
In every breath, you still live on.
I hold you close, though you’re afar,
A guiding light, my northern star.
Though death has placed you out of sight,
You walk beside me every night.
So here I stand, beneath the skies,
With tear-streaked face and heavy sighs.
I promise, though the road is long,
To live for both, to carry on.
