Payton’s New Guinea Pig

This is my adopted daughter Payton’s, new Guinea Pig, which is named Oakley. We took her to the pet store last Sunday and let her pick out the one that she wanted. This is what we gave her for one of her birthday presents.

She is currently celebrating her 15th birthday today because her birthday is on November 4th. She is now responsible enough to care for her new furry friend on her own. She loves to hold it and teach it new things each day. The guinea pig loves to get out of its cage and roam around my house.

Thankfully, Payton is very alert and attentive when she is out of her cage. Oakley likes to eat fresh vegetables and fruit, but she prefers baby carrots most of the time. We have learned a lot about her since getting her, so I’ll be sharing what I know.

However, we learned that they live about 5 to 7 years with proper care. I didn’t know that but we decided to just make memories with her, instead of worrying about how long she will live. She is so cute as is mostly quit, but she has moments when she gets loud.

The dogs love following her around when she is roaming free. They have not offered to hurt her,so I let them interact with her. I am so happy that Oakley is well cared for by Payton and she brings her so much joy each day.

Thank you for stopping by,

Respectfully yours,

Crystal Amon
