Playtime for the Birds

Maxine and Scarlet

Thank you to a good friend of mine, who came over on a Sunday and dropped off a huge cage for Scarlet. Maxine was bullying and biting me and Wicca, my yellow cockatiel. So, I decided to separate my birds and so far it is working.

My friend Tenah has birds as well, so I called her for advice on how to solve my issue. Maxine is finally allowing me to hold her and she is calming down from being so aggressive with me. Thankfully, I can finally hold her again, which really makes me happy to be honest.

Plus, Maxine is not allowed to bully my cockatiel, Wicca anymore either. My really sweet friend came over and she bought this neat perch for the birds to play on. The two female conures absolutely love the perch as you can see in the pictures.

She also brought individual sandpaper perches as well, that I placed in their cages this week. The conures love to cuddle with each other and spend time hanging out on it. Generally, I usually leave it on one of my living room tables until it play time.

However, after letting the birds out, I place it on the floor so they can play on it. They must like it because that’s where they stay since I introduced them to it. They also have a bird play gym that she hand made for them months ago.

Thank you to my great friend for helping me out with my babies. I recently connected her website BirdsPerchPlace.com to my blog that links to her own personal website Birdsperchplace.com.

Check it out for yourself, if you have birds as well because they enjoy her product and you can customize it as well. Additionally, she has a personal Poshmark page which is connected to my blog. There are many types of products listed on her page and are for sale.
