Do you have a prepay light bill? Where you have pay on the lights daily or weekly. If not, do you have to pay a larger bill each month? Both are great electric programs for homeowners and renters.
One electric program allows you to pay as you go. The other one consists of a larger bill, which comes once a month. Honestly, I have used prepay lights for over four years now as a renter.
I am currently trying to see if I am saving money or losing money. Today, I am using anywhere from $3 to $5 a day. However, the monthly program would send one bill that is around $200 to $300 or more.
The lump sum bill is the main reason why I chose to go on prepaid light service. Unfortunately, I am not sure if I made the right choice at this point. The light bill is high due to inflation, because my weekly usage total just started getting higher.
I generally used about $20 in lights a week, but now I’m using $40 or more a week. Therefore, I am curious as to other peoples experience with prepaid and monthly light service. Take a moment to tell me why you like your bill the way it is.
