Do you collect something special each month that you stay sober? If so, please share in the comments what your collecting and why? Honestly, I would love to know about your own collections and possible gifts you reward yourself with for staying sober.
My Collection
Plus, I also collect dragons as well since I adore them too. However, I collect crystals each month I remain sober, which has made my collection a large one so far. I cannot wait to add more variety of crystals to my collections.
Start Inexpensive
I don’t spend any more than $10 a month but some crystals are expensive. I love knowing that I made it another full month without breaking my sobriety agreement despite the temptations that exist daily.

Collecting is Easy
At the beginning of my journey with sobriety, I began collecting rocks and stones. But, unfortunately my collection was tossed out when I moved by my old landlord. This past year, I began collecting crystals monthly and dragons for my anniversary days.
Good Reminder
Thankfully, I have created a beautiful collection with is on my corner shelf. Each month, I look forward to getting new crystals or stones for about 10$. This is a reminder that despite my bad days each month that I face.
Admire Your Collection
Each new crystal or dragon represents that I have made it 30 more days in recovery. Everyday, I enjoy looking at my collection and sometimes I count them to remind myself how strong I am.
Reward Yourself
Truthfully, sobriety isn’t easy, so it’s important to reward yourself for reaching milestones and goals. This amazing collection of mine is a permanent reminder that no matter what I have faced throughout my recovery….I am still sober!
Blessed to Chase Sobriety
Each new item is proof that I have stood strong over the years, since I reached out for help. I have rebuilt a life I can be proud of and I try to help others when I can. This personal blog was started when I began my journey to sobriety. There is help whether your addicted to hard drugs or prescription pills, but you must want it more than the drug your addicted too.
